Julie Lynne Sanford
June 1, 1975 – March 1, 2020
Julie Lynne Sanford, 44, of Richmond, Virginia passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020.
She is survived by her husband Gallie Sanford; her two sons, Zachary and Austin Sanford; her mother, Virginia Ruff; and her sister, Rachel Smith. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 8 at Affinity Funeral Service – Richmond Chapel, 2720 Enterprise Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23294.
Julie left us too soon but there is peace in knowing she is in a better place. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations in Julie’s name to the Child Mind Institute to support mental health and learning disabilities in children

Sending all my thoughts and prayers to her family, she was an amazing person, my son and daughter saw her for checkups and my son loved her and was always excited to see her, in so heart broken to hear about this sudden loss.
Julie has been our nurse with henrico peds since my kids were born –9 years ago .
My 9,8,8 month old and myself will miss her very much.

I was so sad to hear about Julie’s passing. She was a kind, wonderful person and an amazing nurse. She was always in a good mood and my kids always knew she would be there when they visited the doctor’s office. She will be missed. Thinking and praying for your family at this difficult time.
There are no words to make this loss easier…. she was a beautiful person…. my thoughts are with everyone during this time…
My heart is so saddened to learn of this today, I just spoke to Julie Feb. 28th and now this; May God keep his angels around her entire family and know that she is in a better place. My children will miss her dearly.

I’m at a loss for words! For the all of 9 years my daughter Sophia has been a patient of Dr. Falik’s, Julie has been there! We will miss her! My daughter was very comfortable with Julie and always looked forward to seeing her. I’m sending love and prayers to her family, her Henrico Pediatrics family, and her friends.
When I found out I didn’t know what to think. I’ve known Julie since 2012. My oldest daughter Katalayah loves her so much and enjoys seeing her when we would go for check ups and sick visits. Then my last two children got to come cross paths with Julie since they been born! She will truly be missed by my family! We love her so much! She was an amazing nurse and always patient and kind! She was great with the children! Her heart warming smiles will definitely be missed!

I was so sorry to hear about Julie. She was my kids nurse in Dr. Falik’s office. She was always so gentle with my babies, and was very patient with a new mom like me. She will be deeply missed. My condolences to the family.
Thank you for all the loving comments she was and always will be a beautiful wife and a friend to everyone. It’s nice to see how many people she touched she is greatly missed me and the boys are still trying to make sense of it but she’s with god now and one day we all will be together. I am so sorry to hear of this loss. Julie has been seeing my daughter since she was born in 2010 and Eva loved seeing her. Very sorry for your loss
Because of the Corona Virus, we haven’t been by the office. My wife and I are heartbroken to hear about Julie. As new parents, she put us at ease and was a guardian angel of sorts. She was so kind and loving!!! We will pray for her family and co-workers. She will be missed but never forgotten.
Due to virus infection we haven’t been to the hospital for a while. This is really a bad news in a New Year. We are really sorry for your loss. We always will remember your kindness and smile!!!

STARTED AT HENRICO PEDIATRICS IN 1996 WITH MY TWO BOYS. MY DAUGHTER WAS BORN IN 1999 AND OFCOARSE A PATIENT AS WELL. IN 2014, DR. FALIK BECAME MY DAUGHTERS PRIMARY ALONG WITH JULIE DUE TO MEDICAL ISSUES. JULIE WAS A BLESSING TO US DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME IN OUR LIVES. SHE IS A SWEET ANGEL THAT WILL GREATLY BEMISSED. SHE WAS CHERISHED. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH THE FAMILY AND PRACTICE.
