June French Blankenship, 72, of Mechanicsville, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 27, 2023.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bo Blankenship; mother, Annie N. French; father, Wilbur French; sister, Barbara French; and brother, Bubba French.
She is survived by her son, Marty Blankenship; daughter, Tanya Turner (Mark); grandchildren, Brandon Wright, and Kayleigh Turner; and nephew, Bobby Hutton (Jenny). She had many life-long dear friends, honorary sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren that she loved dearly and who supported the family always.
Please join us in celebrating our Mother’s life and her love at Affinity Funeral Service in Mechanicsville, Virginia. A visitation will be held from 2 to 3 pm on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, with a service at 3 pm at Affinity Funeral Service, Mechanicsville Chapel, 8074 Mechanicsville Tpke, Mechanicsville, VA 23111.

Not a day goes by I don’t shed a tear or think of you Mama. The pain is so unbearable sometimes. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve picked up the phone to call you, reality not yet setting in I guess. I hope you know how much you meant to everyone and the joy, support and love you gave always. The little things is what we are missing the most. Especially your voice, calls, requests, yummy cooking, and shopping trips here and there just to name a few. Love you ALWAYS, Tanya💗😇
