So sorry to hear of Sis. June’s death. Really enjoyed her biblical comments in sisters class. She will be missed.
Sister June was such a dear person. Outside of ecclesial events etc. our paths would cross when I took my mother to the same beauty salon that June used, but I never did get her to dye her hair red. We had a good time ribbing each other. She will be missed and our hope is that her sleep will be very short.
Sis. June was an inspiration to me as a young person to become a good pianist to be able to play for meeting. I remember meeting her at KBS at Camp Brosend in 1957, I believe. May her sleep be short. Even so Lord Jesus quickly come.
We loved June very much. She may have set a record for number of consecutive years attending Kentucky Bible School. She played the piano at our wedding. We were so pleased to have her join our ecclesia’s Sunday morning service and Wednesday evening Bible class online until her recent fall. She once said she was looking forward to singing in the kingdom with the innumerable multitude thar would sing praises to Yahweh. May that be her reward for her faithful service. Love, James and Janet
Sis. June was so interesting to talk to. A wealth of biblical knowledge. And she was sweet and down-to-earth. She will be missed by many
She will be greatly missed looked forward to seeing her every week
I worked with June at First Mortgage Corp and we were also friends. I was friends with her nephews Norman and Jimmy, who used to pick me up to go to U of R. She was a wonderful person. DON VADEN
June was such a dear friend and cousin. I shall miss our chats over the years and am so thankful for her to finally be at peace and away from the cares and troubles of this world. She will truly be blessed in the future with a place in the Lord’s kingdom when His son returns to this earth.
Sis. June was loved by many, and will be missed by all who knew her. Although her body was failing in the last few months, her knowledge of, and love for, the Kingdom of GOD on Earth, and the name of Jesus Christ were still clear and strong. One could have a very educational discussion with her on almost any topic in the Holy Scriptures. May her sleep in the earth be short, and she soon be blessed with the words, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’” Matthew 25:23 ESV
I got to know June many years ago in
Richmond. Our lives went in different directions
But our mutual love of the truth never wavered. We became reconnected this year thanks to zoom meetings I am sorry to lose this recent connection but pray we will soon be together at the return of Christ , an event for which we all yearn. Rest in peace, dear sister.
