Katherine Ann Sivertsen, 62, of Montpelier fell asleep in death on Monday, April 5, 2021, after a long illness.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Ole Jon Sivertsen; her son, Erik Lee Sivertsen and his wife, Nicki; her daughter, Jenna Sivertsen Biller and her husband, Kenny; her mother, Ollie Cumbie Tinsley; her brother, Stanley Tinsley, Jr. and his wife, Deborah, her sister, Rebekah Jamerson; grandsons Brooks Leight and Jesse Leight; nephews, Cory Tinsley, Nathan Jamerson, Wyatt Jamerson, and Caleb Tinsley; a host of friends, and countless spiritual brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Tinsley.
Kathy was a special person who was known for her kindness, joy, positivity, strength, and endurance in dealing with illness for many years. She is well remembered by her family, friends, and the people whose lives she touched. Kathy was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother who cared deeply about her family. She was an accomplished photographer and artist, capturing countless memories and works of art that people will continue to cherish for all of their lives. She gave of herself on behalf of others in acts of hospitality and in her ministry work as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Please join us in remembering Kathy and the fine example that she set during her life. (Proverbs 31:31) A memorial service will be held virtually at 2 p.m on Saturday, April 17th.
