November 15, 1934 – February 17, 2022
Kay Frances Taylor of Chesterfield, Virginia, died February 17, 2022 at Johnston-Willis Hospital. She was born in Sanford, NC on November 15, 1934 to Herbert and Ellie Oldham Jeffers. Kay was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene Taylor; son, Gregory Taylor; and siblings, Gladys Hayes, Buster Jeffers, Dorothy Martin, Patty Sue Jeffers and Faye Sechler. She is survived by her daughters, Sabrina Taylor (William Oldaker), Toni Warren (Sandy); and son, Jeffrey Taylor. Her legacy also lives on in her 8 grandchildren: Ryan Taylor (Amy), Erin White (Wes), Zachary Taylor, Jessica Bondurant (Brian), Dylan Vavra (Ashley), Scott Taylor, Shane Taylor and Maxx Taylor; and 3 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Wanda Head and Sis Blakely; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Kay was tremendously outgoing with a wonderful sense of humor. She fit in easily in any situation and never met a stranger. She enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles and sci-fi movies. She worked at various jobs but her major role in life was taking care of her family.
Her family wishes to thank the caring and competent staff of the Neurological ICU of Johnston-Willis for the loving care of our Mom.
A private interment will be held at a later date.

My symphony gos out to the Taylor family I am very heartbroken about your lost of the family and may god speed with her to her next Journey into the light of the pearly gates of heaven. She was a wonderful person as I remember but may god take her hand and walk though the gates of heaven to bring her joy and to meet love ones who are wanting on her there on her there to her Journey to heaven!
