Lizzie Evelyn Moore was born on January 30, 1930, in Emporia, Virginia, to the late Chester and Birda Lundy. She was known as Alma/ Aunt Alma by her family, was the youngest of sixteen children. She departed this life on October 02, 2021. Her husband, Joe Perry Moore, and son Perry Lee Moore, and grandson Milton A. Getties, and two daughter-in-law Wendy Moore, Phyllis Moore, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Geneva M. Getties (Wilbert Collin) and son Dennis Moore, both of Richmond, Virginia; a sister-in law, Barbara Lundy of Atlanta, Georgia; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a host of nieces and nephews; and three step-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Wed. Oct. 13, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to Noon at Affinity Funeral Service, Richmond Chapel, 2720 Enterprise Parkway, Richmond VA, 23294, with a graveside service starting at 12:30 p.m. to follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens.
