Margaret Ann Mathews Stanley, 82, of Beaverdam, VA passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 66 years, Lester Thomas Stanley; three sons, Glen (Gennette), Larry (Gwen) and Forrest; five grandchildren, Philip, Kelli, Kate, Hannah and Noah; her siblings, Floyd, Catherine and Mac. She was preceded in death by her parents, Neva Nell Lane and Lee Forrest Lane and Ernest Bruce Mathews and several brothers.
Margaret loved the Lord and loved her family. She was the most caring and generous person and always put others before herself. Margaret was so loved and will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, at Affinity Funeral Service, 2720 Enterprise Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23294. A service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
The family would like to express our most sincere thanks to Hospice of Virginia, especially to Anne and Robin. You showed such love and compassion to Margaret and our family and we are forever grateful.
Margaret was a lovey and beautiful friend to my mother since they were I. School. We will all miss you . Our condolences to the entire family .
