Obituary message
Marvin Tyrone Clarke of Richmond, Virginia went home to be with the Lord after winning his fight with cancer on January 9, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, George S. and VA. Catherine Clarke; brothers, James “Ned” and Charles Wayne Clarke; and son, Eric White. Survivors include his children, Kalia, Marvin (Hope), and Michael Jackson, Kevin Russell and Aaron Minor; 21 grandchildren; devoted sisters, Eloise (Joe) Foster and Mary Jones; devoted brothers, William, George (Joyce) and Michael (Gertrude) Clarke; sister-in-law, Barbara Clarke; and many devoted friends and family, among them Margarita Minor, Charles Cook, Hayes and Scott Winston.
A memorial service will be held at 1pm Monday, January 16 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 106 South James St., Ashland, VA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society or your favorite charity.
Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. May the God of all comfort strengthen you as you cope at this most difficult time. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4.
