Obituary message
Mona Marie Whitehead, 61, of Sandston, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Memorial Regional Medical Center.
Ms. Whitehead loved flowers and enjoyed reading books.
Survivors include her son, Roy Shaffer III; daughter, Frankie Shaffer; sister, Kathy Shumaker; niece, Donna Hazelwood; nephew, Roger Shaffer Sr.; grandchildren, Michael Simpson Jr., and Joshua Simpson; many great-nieces and nephews; and many other family members in Canada and Maine.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roland Nadeau and Laurette Sirois Nadeau.
Services will be private.
