Myles Jon Stading
June 10, 1966 – January 13, 2023
Myles Jon Stading, age 56, of Bumpass, VA passed away after a courageous fight against cancer on Friday, January 13, 2023, at home with his devoted wife, Darlene by his side.
Myles graduated from Patrick Henry High School in 1985 and started a career in construction. In 2004 his career path transitioned to HVAC. He earned his Journeyman and was CFC, NATE, NCI, and Mitsubishi Certified. Myles thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was always up for a good game of corn hole, horseshoes, or darts. He enjoyed watching football, racing, fishing, and practicing his PittMaster skills on the smoker and grill. He was a member of the SALS with Legion Post 90, coached five years of baseball for his stepson, Austin, and 2 years of basketball for his son, Jace. He will always be remembered for his contagious smile, his eagerness to help others, and as a hard worker who was dedicated to his job and family. He was deeply loved and will be missed beyond any measure words could express.
Myles was survived by his wife of 21 years, Darlene; their son, Jace; two step-children Ashley Davis (Nathan), and Austin Barlow; three grandchildren, Harley, Theron, and Colton; mother, Gloria Stading; mother-in-law, Jane Coor; brother, Thomas Stading (Angie); sisters-in-law, Kathy Cook, Tammie Satchell (Richard); brother-in-law, Philip Coor (Rosanna); nieces and nephews, Haven, Haley, Kristina, Ricky, Andrew, Katelyn, McKenzie, Zoie, and Falyn. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Stading; father-in-law, Roger Coor; and brother-in-law, Erik Cook.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring when Jace is home from college. Details will be posted on Facebook.

We send our heart felt condolences to the family. Rest in Paradise Myles. You will be missed but we all will be together again. You did not leave us, you just went ahead of us.
Darlene and family I am so sorry for your loss and seemingly constant trials and tribulations this year. Your love for each other was a beautiful thing. I pray for your family’s strength.
We are very sorry for everyone’s loss. We spent many years working beside Myles in the HVAC business. It took no time to realize his work ethic, his loyalty to his friends, and his steadiness and respect for others. I told him many times that Pat and I loved him like a son, People that we got to know through the business are always asking about him. He will be sorely missed by us. Love Pat and Jim Satterfield
My husband and I have known Myles for 30 years. He was always a happy person. Sad to see such a young person gone too soon. Prayers for his mom, Gloria, his brother, Thomas C., his wife, Darlene and son, Jace.
I miss you every second of every minute. I just want to hear your voice, feel your touch, feel the comfort of knowing your close. Nothing prepared me for what we would endure together over the past 7 months. Through it all you showed courage and bravery. You pushed me to be strong through it all, even on the hardest days. God took you away too soon. There was so much more life to live, places we wanted to see, things we wanted to do, and while I trust His plan, it all just seems so unfair. I will continue to find my strength and hope in your memory and the love we shared. I will always look for you in my dreams, for that gleaming and bright eyed smile that could light up even the darkest room. I will continue to carry you in my heart until I can hold you again at those Pearly Gates. I will love always, Myles Jon.
Happy Fathers Day
