Pamela, since our sorority days in Ft. Worth, TEXAS,1974, we’ve shared laughter, tears, secrets and a kinship that will never end. Your heartfelt caring transcends rebirth. I trust you are enjoying your celebration of eternal life organizing the angels, whipping up the traditional English dinners with style and grace, yet always available to listen & defend your friends whilst dedicating yourself to your family and pets. My dear “Sister”, thank you for our time together.
Pamela has been such a dear friend to my parents and like another grandmother to my boys. She will be tremendously missed. She always made me feel special and beautiful. She always complimented me and left me feeling better about myself. We promise to take care of Claude and to love your family like our own. I will be by my mothers side to help her grief as I know her heart is broken losing such a wonderful and beautiful friendship. The boys will walk your loving pup Morgan and when it’s tea time we will always look up and smile. Love always, The May Family. Laura, Jason,Walker and George
Pamela, you will be sorely missed. What a beautiful soul, and to Claude , Sebastian and the rest of the family, may God be with you all.

Pamela was an inspiration to me, I have never once before met a woman so pure and so kind.
I was Sebastian’s best friend and she treated me like family,
It was an honour knowing you and spending time in England and America with you.
Thank you for the guidance and impact you’ve had on my life,
Sending all my love from England,
Jamie xxx
Pamela was such a sweet, kind, and caring person. The funeral service was in keeping with her dignity and grace. May God be with Claude and the entire family.
I loved having you for a sister-in-law. I loved you then and will love you forever.
The service today was beautiful. I’ve known Pamela through things we did together with Wendy and George and so enjoyed those times at games in Chalottesville. But I learned so much more about Pamela today and will treasure all of the lovely things that each of you said about her.
Sebastian, I think I know you the best from your visits as a young boy and we always loved your enthusiasm when you came to games with all of us. Your grandmother and your Aunt Wendy were and are so proud of you but today I do believe they were the proudest EVER of you. You were magnificent and I know Pamela has a huge grin on her face up in heaven. I am so sorry for your loss, Kim, Gary, Michael, Sebastian, Caroline, but I know you have such happy memories to sustain and overcome your grief.
Dear Pam we will always remember your happy smile and love for your family, Rest in peace with the angels in heaven. The service was beautiful and your grandson did you proud, as we know how much you loved him and of your daughter Kim.
“The Rarest Gem”

Written For: My INCREDIBLE grandmother, one of the GREATEST humans to EVER walk this planet, Pamela Jessie Bandy
(Anything in quotations are things she said to me back in June 2021, except for the last quotation which is something I’m saying.)
White Diamonds shine brightly,
Sparkling in the sun.
Your journey in God’s Kingdom,
Has merely just begun.
“Black is meant for mourning” –
Often associated with negative not right.
“I’m grateful for the life I’ve lived;
I’ve lived a long fulfilling life.”
“Don’t be sad, bc I’m gone!”
Her life was full of blessings every day.
She was successful, smart, & witty,
A classy woman in every way.
When your cheeks feel the sun’s warmth,
As if giving a gentle kiss,
Or when you feel the cool of the night,
Making you feel everything’s amiss,
Imagine her as the moon or sun –
Always constant & watching over you.
Her love could envelop anyone,
It was pure, mighty, & true!
Her voice was quite poetic –
There was beauty in every breath.
All who encountered her,
Became enraptured to the deepest depth.
So I say, “Live like Pamela Jessie Bandy”;
She’d want a long, fulfilling life for you.
On your hardest days see purple,
Fan away at the black & blue!
Honor her by being kind to others,
Continue the love & laughter!
Remember, she was grateful for YOU,
Bc YOU gave her the GREATEST gift: Her ‘Happily EVER after’!
⚠️For anyone wondering: “bc” means “because”. I apologize for shortening it. I sincerely forgot that not everyone knows that. My apologies! I wrote this poem for my grandma on 01/30/2022.
