Paquita Lopez
March 17, 1945-September 18, 2023
Our beloved Paquita Lopez entered into God’s Kingdom on Monday, September 18, 2023, at age 78 after a short battle with Leukemia.
Paquita was born to Secundino and Maria Hernandez on March 17, 1945 in Camuy, Puerto Rico. As a child, Paquita loved to garden, craft, and sew. When she was 13 she was born again at the Missionary Pentecostal Church of God in Lakewood, NJ. She loved serving God, her natural family, and her church family, and sharing the love and warmth of our savior, Jesus Christ, with as many people as possible.
Paquita met her husband of many years, Edwardo Lopez through friends at church. They married on June 12, 1965, and went on to have one child, Ruth Cruz. Paquita raised Ruth with patience, love, and the fear of the Lord.
Psalm 23 – Passion Translation
Yahweh is my best friend and my shepherd.
I always have more than enough.
He offers a resting place for me in his luxurious love.
His tracks take me to an oasis of peace near the quiet brook of bliss.
That’s where he restores and revives my life.
He opens before me the right path
and leads me along in his footsteps of righteousness
so that I can bring honor to his name.
Even when your path takes me through
the valley of deepest darkness,
fear will never conquer me, for you already have!
Your authority is my strength and my peace.
The comfort of your love takes away my fear.
I’ll never be lonely, for you are near.
You become my delicious feast
even when my enemies dare to fight.
You anoint me with the fragrance of your Holy Spirit;
you give me all I can drink of you until my cup overflows.
So why would I fear the future?
Only goodness and tender love pursue me all the days of my life.
Then afterward, when my life is through,
I’ll return to your glorious presence to be forever with you!
Titi ?Frances?,
May you rest in peace and in the knowledge that you were loved by many.?️
She always had the heart ❤️ to encourage and offer guidance and help when it was required. Auntie till we meet again? Ruth my heart and prayers go out to you and your family.
To my Dear Sister,
Few of us know what our calling is but you always knew what yours was. You never faltered. My solace is that I know where you are now and are not suffering. May you be rejoicing in the arms of our Savior along with Mom and Dad. I love you and will miss you, but I know you’re an angel watching over us now.
Love little Sis Jinny
Ruthie, I send prayers, hugs and kisses to you and the family. Love Tio and Tia M. Roldan
Ruth, May the Lord wrap his arms around you and your family during this difficult time. Your mom and I and my family grew up together in church. We have many happy memories of those years. We are sure of one thing, that Paquita never strayed on her love for the lord.
Even though we haven’t seen each other in years , we remain as a family.
Six years ago my mom passed away and Mary (your aunt) visited us in Puerto Rico.
My prayers are with you and your family.
To a good woman of God. She bought me to check out Canaan Christian Church, which was held in the basement of my Spiritual father, Pastor Pla. Because of her, I’ve learned a lot.
My sister, we will see each other again. Thank you, I love you, now go and rest with the Lord.
Titi Francis knowing the word what is your spiritual gift. Thank you for the many blessings you’ve given to everyone around you. We all knew that the word was written in your heart and on your mind. Love you Titi.
To my beloved sister Paquita, you will surely be missed. God had a mission for you and that was to spread the Gospel. You took every opportunity to do so. You shared the word with your family and others along the way. I thank God for having a awesome sister like you. You are an inspiration to all those who knew you. You will always have a special place in my heart.❤️?
Love your sister, Lisa
Love you
My Dear Auntie Paquita, a woman of God and the
Matriarch in our family.
Paquita had a great passion for the Lord Jesus Christ,
Paquita Loved God and desired greatly to please him.
Paquita was a dedicated woman of faith and prayer
warrior for the kingdom of God.
Paquita loved and desired greatly that all her family
and those she came in touch or contact with would
come to know her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ whom
she so cherished since childhood.
Paquita shared this great news with me of how a loving
savior came to save me form my sins me how he bled
and died for me and how I could have eternal life through
him and I could come to have a relationship with God
through a prayer of repentance. So I did and Today I am
a child of God because of her obedience. I thank God for
her life. I am a life that has been changed forever. . Most importantly my memory of Paquita I will always treasure.
Paquita led me to Christ and for that I truly am grateful for.
Paquita was a gift to me and to others. I am so blessed to
have known her as my Aunt Paquita she was like a second
mom also my sister in the Lord and like a second daughter
to her. Today I know she is home with Jesus. That brings
me great comfort. Welcome home Paquita. Until we meet
Again.
Eternally Grateful
Your niece
