Paula Kaye Roddenberry, 28, of Chesterfield County passed away on September 15, 2017. She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Curry Roddenberry and half-brother Anthony “Tony” Seawell. Sadly, she leaves behind 3 young children–Karina Delgado, Kathryn Isabella “Bella” Delgado, and Joshua Tapia. She is survived by her mother, Kathryn Roddenberry of Henrico; two half-sisters, Robin Daniels of Chesterfield and Kerry Davenport Dalton of Glen Allen; her brother Robert Roddenberry of Henrico, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Paula was a loving and devoted mother who adored children, playing games, reading to her little ones, and showering her “babies” with hugs and kisses. She was an excellent chef, having graduated from the Culinard Academy at Virginia College, and enjoyed many hours concocting new and delicious meals. She loved to travel and was an exciting and fun traveling companion.
Previously, she worked for Amazon where she acquired many new friends and learned skills that helped her work in various departments.
Although Paula could be a force to be reckoned with, she will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Rest in peace, dear Paula. We love you.
Friends and family will be received at Affinity Funeral Service, 2720 Enterprise Parkway, Henrico, Va. 23294 on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service following at 2:00 p.m.
