Obituary message
Phillip M. Yost, 72 of Chesterfield went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, May 5, 2018.
Phil was preceded in death by his parents, John D. Yost and Virginia A. Neel; wife Geraldine Yost; mother of his children, Rita Yost; brother Carl D. Yost; and sister Juanita Cox. Survivors include his sister, Ann Yost McCoy and her husband, Joe McCoy; son Jeffery Yost; daughter Erin Yost Huntress (Brian); step sons Denny and Willie Johnson; four grandchildren, Christian Martin, Jacob Yost, Chase Yost and Madison Yost; one great-grandchild, Aubree Yost; and step grandchildren, David Johnson, Mariah Johnson and Rachael Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
A celebration of his life will be held at 6pm Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Bellwood Baptist Church, 9138 Quinnford Blvd, Richmond, VA 23237.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Phil to The American Cancer Society or The Humane Society of the United States.
