Raymond Morton Moss, Jr, 60, of Montpelier, VA passed away on June 24, 2019 at home.
Ray enjoyed the solace of his Montpelier home, gardening and growing Hanover tomatoes. He loved the annual family trips to Emerald Isle, NC and enjoyed the Blue Ridge Mountains. He was a man of few words, who loved his family and was especially proud of his daughters.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Leah Engleby Moss and daughters, Jennifer Rae Moss and Jamie Leah Moss. Ray is also survived by his mother, Carolyn Jennings Moss and brothers, Timothy Scott Moss (Molly) and Matthew Talley Moss as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ray was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Jennings Moss and father, Ray Moss, Sr.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 29, at Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church, Ashland, VA, with a reception following.
