
Richard Lee Boyce
August 24, 1973 – April 9, 2022
Evangelist Richard Lee Boyce, 48, of Collinsville VA, went home to be with Jesus Saturday April 9th @ 10:03 pm while awaiting a liver transplant at VCU Medical center in Richmond, VA.
He was born in Hampton Virginia to the late Carson Ray and Mary Katheryn Boyce on August 24th 1973.
Richard loved people and had many special relationships with people who were all very special to him. He enjoyed shooting pool and playing various card games, board games, online, and mobile games. He loved to play guitar and sing old country, bluegrass, and gospel music. Most of all, he loved the Lord and sharing the Gospel. He also loved his Midget.
He married his wife Amber Lynch (Midget) Boyce in 2012. They were very happy and he lived a good life.
He was preceded in death by his father Carson Ray Boyce, his mother Katheryn Lane Boyce, two brothers Caron Boyce Jr and Kenneth Ray Boyce, step mother Nancy Boyce, and his beloved son Richard Lee Boyce Jr.
Richard is survived by his wife Amber Lynch (Midget) Boyce, daughter Mary Boyce Spencer, life partner Quen Hodges, daughter -in- law Chastedy Boyce, and his 5 beautiful grandchildren; Ava, Shyann Amy, Richard (Trey)III and Elizabeth.
Special momma-in-law Deborah Lynch as well as bonus children; Dallas Lynch, Elizabeth Russ, and Miranda Tuttle plus many others he loved dearly. Three step sisters, Patricia Stanford (Tony), Virginia Daugherty, and Sarah Lawson (Frank). Three extra special nephews Jr. Stanford (Melanie), Robert Stanford (Emily (Beasty), and Travis Stanford (Brett).

Condolences to his family and friends. Prayers for Mary Katherine and Amber. Rick could really sing and I will always have the fond memory of him singing to Ava when we brought her home from the hospital to soothe her asleep.
My prayers and thoughts have been with all of you; my deepest sympathy, Mary Katherine -Ann, Amber, and all of the numerous grandchildren, and many families and friends of Rick’s. He was always a unique person and I am so thankful he accepted our Lord Jesus Christ and is at rest in Heaven. God bless you all.
