Rick was a dear friend and brother to my husband and our family. We loved him very much as well as his beautiful family. He was always the life of the party and one of the most generous people we know. He lived his life to the fullest every day and rarely had anything but kindness and humor to spread around. We will always remember his beautiful spirit and jolly laughter anytime he and Steven and to Powhatan peeps had time to throw darts or have a campfire at the hunt club. RIP friend until we meet again! Love Steven McMichen and family!
I love Rick. He was always so fun and lived life to its fullest. Rick lit up every room he entered. I’m so blessed and thankful to have all my favourite Rick memories locked away. Every time I take a tequila shot, it will be for Rick.
Kelly, Jonathon, Jordon, Madison, and Family,
My deepest sympathy to all of you! Rick was always such a good friend and the best neighbor to my family, and helped me so much. I will always remember his laughter and kindness. I am so thankful that he was in our lives. Sending much love to all of you!

My heart breaks as my family grieves. I’ll miss you big brother every day for the rest of my life. You were a special person and will never be forgotten. Love you!
So very sorry for the loss of your husband, father and friend to many.

There now is a void in the life of anyone who knew Rick. He loved his family and was always there to help a friend. His earthly life is over, but my loving memories of Rick will always remain with me. My prayers and thoughts are with all of Rick’s family.

Helen Lowrie Marshall wrote this beautiful message. It describes Rick perfectly.
Afterglow
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun;
Of happy memories that I leave when this life is done.
Helen Keller said “What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.”
Rick will always be apart of us. He will forever in our hearts. Until we meet again…Ron & Diane Turner
