VAN BUSKIRK, Roger Charles, 91, of Henrico passed away August 23, 2017 surrounded by loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Lena, and sister Eugenia Truesdell. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Eleanor; daughters Linda (Joe) Koy and Judy (Brad Reed) Johnson; five grandchildren, Alan, Brian, Grace, Mary and Emily, and four great grandchildren, Ella, Lily,Trevin, and Brielle. Roger was a veteran of WWII having served in the US Navy as an Electronics Technicians Mate in the Phillipines. The family will receive friends at 10:00 am followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am August 29 at St. Michaels Catholic Church, 4491 Springfield Rd. Glen Allen, VA 23060. A reception will follow at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
