Ronald Addison Woods
January 17, 1957-June 20, 2020
Ronald Addison Woods, 63, of Henrico, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 20, 2020. The beloved husband of Robin Woods, Ronald was a loving and devoted father to their four beautiful children. He cherished his five grandchildren as they were a great delight to him and always brought smiles to his face. As a veteran, Ronald proudly served in the United States Navy. After serving our country, he spent over 36 years as an employee for RF&P/CSX Railroad. He loved the great outdoors and spending time in nature. He loved to hunt and fish and created many special memories doing so with his son and many friends. Ronald was always a good friend and loved by many.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Sallee Woods. He is survived by his loving wife, Robin Woods of 36 years; four children, Kara Thurman (Chase), Erica Facetti (Adam), Jessica Dickerson (Justin), and Ryan Woods (Holly); five grandchildren Lyla and Jaxon Thurman, Henry Facetti, Rhett Dickerson, and Addison (Addi) Woods; two brothers, David Woods (Mary) and Kenneth Woods; brothers-in-law, Kevin Atwood and Todd Atwood; sisters-in law Renee Litchford and Michelle Furgurson (Mark); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10 am on Friday, July 10, 2020 at St Michaels Catholic Church, 4491 Springfield Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
Due to COVID-19, there is a sign up that is REQUIRED in order for anyone to attend (note: there is a limit on attendees at the church-130 people max and masks are required). However, it will not be available until about a week out from the service. Please stay tuned and we will provide the sign up link as soon as possible.

Sincere condolences to the family on the loss of this good man. May you be consoled by fond memories of him and happy times together.
May he forever Rest In Peace and fly with the Angels. He was a great friend and an honorable man. He will be missed but never forgotten. Our prayers to the family during this difficult time.
We were lucky to meet him at his son’s wedding and realize he was someone special to raise such a beautiful family. Sandi and I thoroughly enjoyed time spent with Ron and Robin. While we didn’t know Ron very long, he lives in the lives of the beautiful family he and Robin raised. This is very evident when you meet each and every one of the kids.
The Wood family is a special family!
