
Roza Kotchoubei
April 15, 1936 – January 16, 2022
In the early hours on Sunday, January 16th, 2022, Roza Kotchoubei, loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all those that she met, passed away at 86 years old in Richmond, Virginia. Roza was born on Wednesday, April 15th, 1936 in St. Petersburg, Russia. After 30 years years of teaching in Russia, she joined her daughter, son-in-law, and new granddaughter in the United States. She earned her American citizenship and became a sparkling light in the community no matter where she lived. Roza was an energetic and generous soul who always sought to look after anyone she crossed paths with. She loved nothing more than her family, flowers, cats, and music.
Roza is survived by her daughter, Julia Goodman, son-in-law, Josh Goodman, and granddaughter, Katiya Goodman.
A small memorial service will be held on Friday, January 21st, 2022 at the Westhampton Memorial & Cremation Park Mausoleum at 10000 Patterson Avenue at 2 o’clock p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association via their website, https://alz.org.
