Ruth P. “Rudy” Gordon
September 6, 1960 – November 13, 2022
Ruth P. “Rudy” Gordon, 62, of Richmond departed on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at VCU Medical Center.
Rudy was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed taking care of others. Rudy worked as a nurse for more than 30 years. She was a member of Mount Olivet Church.
Survivors include her beloved sons, Nathaniel Gordon and Jonathan Gordon; her grandson, Wayne “Lil Wayne” Gordon; her sister, Claressa Haynes; her brother, William Gordon; her sister-in-law, Susan Talley; and a host of other family members.
Rudy was preceded in death by her mother, Geraldine Crumm Courtney; stepson Ontario Brandon; and father of her children, Johnnie Wayne Barksdale.
A service will be held at later date.
