SHE would attend Dog Shows with Gene and help my nerves to calm down. SANDRA was a nice person to speak to. HER faith in God is amazing. I am sure she will be in heaven telling us the best way to accomplish things The blessing here is Gene and Sandra are together in heaven .
Sandra and her husband Gene were dedicated members of my dog club for more than 25 years, making many valuable service contributions over the years. Sandra was a loving person who cared deeply for her family, her friends, and her faith. May she now rest in peace with her husband whom she adored so much.

I just saw this news about Sandy (and about Gene). Sandy was the sweetest person! She and I worked together at the old Vepco way back in ’68/’69. She was one of my favorite people. I still remember the day a phone call came for her at work. Her father had been changing a tire on the side of the highway and a driver lost control of the car hitting and causing his death. Sandy was devastated & there was no way any of us could have helped her through that day. She and Gene were so close & you could see the love between them. It warmed my heart. So many times over these many years, I have thought of them and each time, I’d say I was going to find her new number, call, and set up lunch. Time got away from me as it does for most of us, but to remember someone so vividly and warmly for so long really does say something….and Sandy was something.
