I was so heart broken to learn of Scott Jr. passing. Words cannot express my true feeling to hear he is gone. The boys were devastated to hear this news. We talked about the times when he was a baby and he and my boys were at daycare at Mrs. Brown and then talked about how they reconnected at Glen Lea, then high school. How sad it has been reminiscing. You have our complete sympathy and we send our condolences. Your family will be in our prayers and know that the Lord is holding your hands. Hold onto those hands as you go through these times.
Melody and Scott,
We are so sorry for your loss. May God’s grace and peace cover you and your family through this difficult time.

Wonderful Service..Prayers to the family..
Our Hearts and Prayers are with you and your family. We watched the funeral service today and are sending our condolences. We live near Detroit, Michigan and never knew your son. However, we know John Whiting through the postcard club and the antique store and share his loss. When will these shootings stop! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all those who were impacted by Scotts energy and legacy.

We started out as great friends in our Cable family and got to watch our families grow over the years. It has been a blessing to follow and watch your beautiful family Scott. Dear Johnson family,
On behalf of the Sport family, I would like to extend my deepest condolences to you on the transition of your son. I had the pleasure of meeting you several years ago when we sold our red car to your son. He beamed with pride as he drove away from our neighborhood. Please know that your entire family is in our thoughts and prayers. We know that our dear friend Jackie (Cotten) will take good care of you. Kyle and Shanone Sport
I’m sorry that illness kept me from attending the service that day, but grateful that I got to watch it online. I fondly remember, when riding with John, taking Scottie to school when he was just a boy.
