Sharon L. Mays, 62, of Ashland, VA passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023, in her home with her two sons beside her.
Survivors include her two sons, Neil Mays (Jade), and Harrison Whittaker (Cheyanne); grandsons, Harrison Whittaker, Jr., and Kamden Hall; two step-grandchildren, Henry Gonzalez, Jr., and Noah Talbert; great-niece, Cassellia Hawkins; four sisters, Pam, Retta, Suzie, and Jean; two brothers, Chris, and Johnny; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry E. Mays; parents, John Henry and Margaret Peters; and brother, David Peters.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2023, with a service to follow at 5 p.m. at Affinity Funeral Service, 8074 Mechanicsville Turnpike, Mechanicsville, VA 23111. Interment will be private.

You will be so missed. Neil and Harrison love you so much and they know how much you loved them. RIP Mrs. Mays. Ill miss you saying back to me Mrs. Mays.
Sharon was a Co worker with me in three different Hair Styling location in Ashland.. GOD BLESS her as she took the final exit from this earthly home to the entrance to Heaven. her eternal home.
