Stephen M. Armentrout 52, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 in Chester, Va.
Stephen was born April 10, 1970 in Portsmouth.
Survivors include his mother, Sandra Williams Smith; his step-father, Ray Smith; his sister, Cheryl Armentrout; and his brothers, George Armentrout III and Shane Smith. He is preceded in death by his father, George Armentrout, Jr.
The family would like to thank Ms. Kim Kwaitkowski for serving as his Guardian-Ad-Litem for the past 15 years and Dustin Ward for serving as his nurse-caretaker for the past 3 years. Stephen’s cremains will rest in Portsmouth City Park, (Va) where he played as a child.
Your wings were ready. Our hearts were not.
