The Shipp Family: I am so sorry to hear about Steve’s passing. Definately too young to go. His picture looks just like he did when we were kids at the river. It’s nice to know he still continued doing what he loved and learned as a child. I have so many memories of Jimmy G, Joyce, Greg, Steve & Amy at the river every summer growing up. RIP in peace and fly high with that quirky smile of yours. I am sure you will be missed by all.

I share my cousin Sherri’s fond memories of childhood River days and Steve’s smile … we kids really bonded during those summers! Forever grateful for that, and will remember always. With heavy heart, sending love and condolences to the Shipp family, on behalf of the Tatum Ruffin side.

I’m saddened to hear of your passing, Steve. It’s been a long time since we last spoke, but I always enjoyed our chats when you would pick up the girls. Your family is in my prayers.
Gone way too soon…one of the hardest and most dedicated worker I have ever met from our days at Howell’s…you are going to be so missed…I know the AC in heaven is in good hands with our passed friend Steve C and you once again reunited. God Bless and be with your family at this time.

I remember Steve’s first day in the field while at Howell’s, and talking to him the day before he fell I’ll. It was and will always be my honor to have known him and to have worked with him these many years.
To his daughters Nicole and Savannah my deepest sympathy for your loss at this time. His love and pride in both of you was without measure.
Mr & Mrs Shipp, your son touched the lives of many people throughout his career. He was the very best at his craft and was always willing to teach others. In my prayers.
