Stewart G. Dandridge and my father Aubrey W. Nunnally caddied together for many years at the Country Club of Virginia. While Stewart retired from American Tobacco, my father retired from Phillip Morris which were tobacco companies. Aubrey always talked about Stewart and what happened on the golf course. At times they were rivals to get the best paying golf bag that day. They were symbols of a bygone era when caddies were versed in the game of golf, its rules and how to play each hole. During my early years I would caddie during the summer and always remember Stewart giving advice and sharing his knowledge about golf. Rest now. David M. Nunnally.
