Stewart “Stu” Leslie Goff

July 22, 1937 – December 19, 2021

Stewart “Stu” Leslie Goff, 84, of Midlothian, Virginia, passed away at his home, Sunday, December 19, 2021, surrounded by his family.

Stewart attended University of Virginia and remained a lifelong “‘Hoos” fan.  He served 6 years in the Army National Guard and spent his career in the sales industry.  He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, playing baseball, NASCAR racing, playing cards, spending time at the beach, being with his family, reading, and watching Westerns.  He spent 6 years living with his daughter in South Dakota before returning to Virginia in 2020.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Louise Roof and Harry Cecil Goff; and two brothers, and two sisters.

Stewart is survived by his wife, Frances Goff; his children, Pamela Wilkinson (Mark), Carla Mathews; his grandchildren, Jessica Wilkinson, Ryan (Amanda) Robertson, Anna Robertson, Amy Wilkinson, and Mary Mathews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Huguenot Road Baptist Church, 10525 W. Huguenot Road, N. Chesterfield, Virginia 23235.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 2:00 at Huguenot Road Baptist Church.

    Deepest Sympathies to the Goff Families,
    It’s very hard to let go especially close to the Holidays, Your Father was Happy spending a few years in South Dakota enjoying Carla and Her Friends! Treasure those Memories and hold them close to your heart! Huge Hugs and Prayers for Y’all, I will be keeping you all in my prayers! The Holidays won’t be real Merry, just make the best of it!     It was a pleasure watching him make an anniversary card at Scrap U with his daughter Pam. He was very diligent in making that card. So glad I was there to see the love between him and Pam.

    Although I didn’t know your father, losing a parent is always difficult. Sure he is watching over you and the entire family now as you watched over him the past 7 years. I’m sure he would be proud of you. God bless his soul and may the perpetual light shine upon him.
