Obituary message
Susan R. Keith, 66, of Henrico County was born on January 21, 1951 and rose to heaven on March 10, 2017. The “dash” between had many wonderful years.
Susan was predeceased by her grandparents, Hector and Marion Dion, Oscar and Susie Lingerfelt, parents Ray and Phyllis Lingerfelt, and sister Marion Zangle.
She is survived by her devoted husband Gerald (Jerry) Keith; daughter Lindica Merchent and husband Tim; sons, Richard Keith and Michael Wilson and wife Dana; sister Kathleen Dial; brother Joseph Lingerfelt; Aunt Marie and Uncle Ken Loomer; dear friend Charlotte Adams; and her much loved grandson Justin McCarty.
Susan was born and lived her younger life in Norfolk, Virginia, moving to Pensacola, Florida and settling in Richmond,Va. in later years. She loved to shop, eating out, her animals, and mostly her family. She had an enviable talent for making any craft project you could challenge her with, from arranging flowers to making beautiful wreaths.
After many years of debilitating illnesses, the Lord decided she was just too tired to continue on this earth and called her home to be whole again, free from all pain. To say she is missed so much already is an understatement. You are now at a place to know how much you were, and are, loved. May you rest high on the mountain in God’s holy arms. Amen~
A memorial gathering will be held at 11:30am Friday, March 17 at Affinity Funeral Service, 2720 Enterprise Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23294.
