Temetrius Trevonte ” Doodie ” Coker

February 27, 1996 – August 27, 2023

Temetrius Trevonte ” Doodie ” Coker was called home on August 27, 2023. He was born on February 27, 1996, to Nicole Allen-Sumler and the late Temetrius Jermaine Coker.

Doodie attended Richmond Public Schools where he made a lifetime of unbreakable bonds with friends who have become family. He would never go unnoticed on any scene because he was a very outgoing and funny person. Doodie welcomed his eldest daughter with his high school sweetheart Khadijah Doe on March 7th, 2015 whom they named Te’Khari Marie Coker. On January 7, 2018, he welcomed his youngest daughter Ava Armani Coker with Lorena Patiller. He grew up in the Jackson Ward/Gilpin Court area where he grew up with his best friends Kevontaye Toliver (Vontae), Orlando Jackson (Skie), and Jerquantae Broaddus (Jay).

He leaves to cherish his memories his siblings, Devin, Demonte, and  Diamond Sumler, Temea Coker, Teshawna Coker-Branch, Destiny Dabney, T’Yanna Coker, Tashawna Cook, Terrence Cook, Trinity Cook, Terrell Coker, Trevon Coker, Torrey Cook; his maternal grandmother, Teresa Allen; paternal grandfather Milton “Slim” Richards; aunt Lori Allen; uncles Tyree and Larry Allen, Antonio Scroggins, Duan Crockett; nieces Kristan Waller and Taylor; nephews Marquis Harris and Tavon Mealy Jr.; devoted cousins Tavarius, Jeffrey and Tanise Thompson; and a host of other family and loved ones.

The family will receive friends from 1:30- 2 p.m. on Friday, September 8 At Affinity Funeral Service 2720 Enterprise Parkway, Richmond, Virginia 23294. A service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
