Terry Wayne Gantz
July 13, 1947 – September 15, 2023
Terry Wayne Gantz, Sr., 76, of Varina, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, September 15, 2023.
Terry is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Linda Gantz; his children, TJ Gantz (April), Shawn Gantz (Jennifer), Brandon Gantz (Nikki), Lori Gantz-Glass (Larry), and Teresa Gantz; his grandchildren, McKayla Gantz, Haley Gantz, Madison Lucord, Annalyse Rook, Logan Gantz, and Lilly Nolte; great-grandson, Liam Haley; his siblings, Gary Gantz, Lanny Gantz, and Susan Boyce; as well as many, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Mildred Gantz; and brothers Danny Gantz and David Gantz.
Terry had a strong love and bond with his family, he enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys play, NASCAR, growing gardens, and raising chickens. He could be found on Facebook sharing memes and pictures of his family. Terry will live on in the memories he made with everyone whose life he touched.
A viewing will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, at Affinity Funeral Service, 8074 Mechanicsville, VA 23111. A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, September 22, at Affinity Funeral Service chapel. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park.

Words can not express the sadness and emptiness that I am feeling inside right now. This has broken me to the core. I will love and miss you every day of my life. I know I am speaking for Teresa as well. We love you so much. Our world, all of your children’s world has been crushed to the absolute core. Until we reunite again… Love you and will miss you so.
