Theresea L. Bailey, 67, of Richmond passed away Monday, June 14, 2021.
Ms. Bailey retired from the DMV after 30+ years of service.
Survivors include five siblings, Ada Thompson, Henry Bailey (Bernice), Stevenson Bailey, Emma Robinson and Albert Bailey; devoted nieces, Marla Bailey, Pamela Collier, Kelley Robinson, Eleanor Edwards and Debbie Johnson; a devoted nephew, Anthony Thompson; extended family, Wayne and Doll Daniels; and a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 pm Thursday, June 24 at Affinity Funeral Service, 2720 Enterprise Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23294.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am Saturday, June 26 at Booker T. Memorial Cemetery in Wakefield, VA.
To the family of Theresa Bailey, please except my condolence. I worked with Theresa at DMV. I will remember that smile and that happy disposition. Praying that God will strengthen you as you endure this time of beaverment.

Wow, it’s hard to believe! Just thinking about the first time we met…October 1, 1973, our first day at DMV! And were friends ever since. Then you transferred to a branch office and I would see you whenever you would visit headquarters! Always great to see you and was so sorry to have heard when you were in that horrible car crash! Will always love you!
