Tom was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. He was a 30 year veteran of the Richmond Police Department. Aside from work, Tom was an avid New York Mets fan. He even built a replica of Shea Stadium in his backyard. Tom also loved music. He admired the music of Herb Albert from Tijuana Brass and formed his own band in his honor called the Tijuana Brass Players that performed throughout Virginia. One of Tom’s favorite places to eat was Chipotle.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
We where so sad to hear of the passing of your husband , we send prayers and love to you .
Was shocked at the sudden passing of Tom. We worked together in Southside while on the Police Department. Great guy and a passionate fan of baseball, motorcycles and life in general. I remember him playing trumpet at services while attending Church of the Epiphany. Truly a wonderful man and human being. God speed !!
