Wallace Glenn Martin
Sept. 12, 1958 – May 14, 2019
Wallace Glenn Martin, 60, of Chesterfield passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 in his home.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, James Wallace and Adelle Martin. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Martin; his son, Travis (Laura); his step-daughters, Morgan and Kendall Ellis; his granddaughter, Hannah Paige Martin; and his sister, Mary Jo Martin.
Glenn was a graduate of Lee Davis High School. Throughout his life, he worked at Safeway, SuperValu, Richfood, and owned a Pepperidge Farm business in Nashville. Food Lion was where he was working before, he passed. Glenn loved to spend his free time golfing or at the beach. Also with him being a major sports fanatic, he was thrilled to see his Cavaliers win the championship this past year! His smile and love will always be remembered.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
I am so very sorry for your lost. I would like to share a scripture with you at Revelation 20:6 and it says Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and they will rule as kings with him for the 1,000 years. So I hope that this helps you through the hard times.
To the Family. Please accept my sincere condolences. God’s Word is a great source of comfort during difficult times. For comfort I share the Bible’s promise at HOSEA 13:14 which promises that death and the grave will be done away with. More than that, Acts 24:15 promises, “There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.”. What a wonderful time that will be!
Sarah, Morgan and Kendall…
