Wendy Glasser Gamm

GAMM, Wendy Glasser, 61, of Glen Allen, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. Wendy had been in declining health since being diagnosed with brain cancer in January. She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Glasser, and mother, Sandra Glasser. Wendy is survived by her husband of 38 years, Ira Gamm; sons Brian Gamm and Kevin Gamm; two grandchildren, Sam and Anika; and brother Rick Glasser. Wendy was born in Greensburg, PA, and later moved to Henrico County. She was a graduate of Freeman High School and the College of William and Mary.
Wendy was a loving wife, mother and doting grandmother. She enjoyed exercise classes, puzzles and beaches. She was a primary school teacher in Ohio and West Virginia before retiring to Virginia. Wendy was an outgoing, friendly and compassionate person who enjoyed helping others. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Ira, no words can adequately express my sadness on hearing of Wendy’s passing. She was a warm and thoughtful soul and I can only hope you and your family find peace knowing that she is now at peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
