William Page Rice

William Page Rice 74, of Richmond, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.
He was the son of the late, Martha Nottingham Rice and David Clark Rice, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, David Clark Rice, Jr. Survivors include his sister, Sally Rice Johnson; his nephews, Marshall Clark Johnson (Mary Kay) and William Randolph Johnson. Also surviving are his great-nieces Kayce Johnson and Kaya Johnson; and his great-nephew Marshall Johnson.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 11:00 at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, VA.
Sending love and condolences to each of you missing Bill. He was devoted to his family and tireless in keeping in touch. I treasure my memories.
I am very sad that I’ll be out of town the day of Bill’s service. Bill was a sweet, gentle soul and a good friend. Boy, did we have some crazy parties in the Rices’ basement back in the day. And then there was the spring break Lisa Wickham and I spent at Bill’s apartment at U of Miami. Richie Havens concert, lots of mood enhancers. So happy for those memories, and happy I reconnected with Bill after moving back to Richmond.
