
William Warren Taylor

William Warren Taylor, 68, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023.
Warren was a man of many talents and passions who touched the lives of those around him. His love for his family was evident in all that he did, and his generosity was unmatched. He was a skilled cook, and those who had the pleasure of tasting his gazpacho will never forget it. In addition to his culinary skills, he was also an excellent mechanic, able to fix just about anything that needed repair.
Despite facing health challenges in recent years, Warren tried to remain resilient. His determination to remain involved and active in his life was an inspiration to those around him. He will be deeply missed by his family, including his wife of 43 years, Diane McCauley Taylor; his children, Norwood Marshall Taylor IV (Candace) and Shelby Jean Baldwin (Steve); and his two grandchildren, Caleb James Baldwin, and Jackson Marshall Baldwin; his mother, Jean Wright Taylor; two siblings, Deborah T. Richardson (Jesse), Robert W. Taylor (Melissa); and two brothers-in-law, Bob McCauley (Peg) and Rick McCauley (Lori); ten nieces and nephews; and nine great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Norwood Marshall Taylor Jr. Warren’s legacy will live on through the memories of those who knew and loved him.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 8005 Atlee Rd, Mechanicsville, VA 23116.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions are sent to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Heart Association.
