Willie James Smith
July 2, 1963 – December 21, 2020
Willie James “Bug” Smith of Kent Store Va. Departed this life on December 21, 2020 in Henrico Va. after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born July 2, 1963 in Richmond, Va. to the late Willie and Merriel Smith.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sisters, Priscilla Bruce (Alphonzo) of Gum Springs, Va. and Constance (Connie) Snead (Wayne) of Manakin Sabot, Va.
Two neices, Tisha Smith, Melissa Bruce; one nephew, Alphonzo Bruce, Jr.(Sandra); five great nephews; two great neices; numerous relatives and friends; and three devoted friends, Jerome Glover, Joe Johnson, and Kenneth Ragland.
The family thanks the Doctors of UVA, nurses and the hospice care team for excellent care and compassion. A celebration of his life in plan for July 2021.
